Educational Trip

On 14th February 2025 our School students went on an educational visit to Islam Nagar fort near Bhopal. Students learn about the History, its Arch form structures it’s Architecture and significance of the fort. It was built by the tribal leaders in 17th century it was renamed by the ruler Dosh Mohammad Khan as as Islam Nagar fort. It is also known as Chaman Mahal it’s a Red sandstone palace surrounded by a defence wall. It has two palaces Chaman Mahal and Rani Mahal with intricate carvings and floral motifs, Mughal water garden, turkish bath and two beautiful gardens between the two palaces.

Educational Trip

An Educational Trip was organized to Sanchi Stupa, Udaygiri and Tropic of Cancer on 15 Feb 2025, for the students of class 6th. They learned about the importance of Sanchi Stupa,its architecture, and story related to the life of Buddha that is engraved on the pillars.Its significance as a testament to the artistic and architectural techniques.They also understood about the Monestry through visiting it. The Stupa as a document of the history of Buddhism from 3rd century BCE to 12th century CE .
They also visited Udayagiri Caves ,that were carved into rocks between 4th and 5th centuries AD .They learned the caves that contains religious iconography and stories of Hindu dities .The caves reflect diverse influences of Jainism ,Buddhism and Hinduism that shaped the spiritual landscape of Ancient India.
Tropic of Cancer the imaginary line passing by near Bhopal was also shown to the students.

Abhishek Malhotra has been conferred with the BAL BHARATI ACHIEVER ALUMNI AWARD.

Wing Commander Abhishek Malhotra is an alumnus of Bal Bharati Public School (BBPS), Nishatpura, Bhopal (Batch 1994-2006), embodies the spirit of dedication and courage that our institution strives to instill in its students. Having completed his schooling at BBPS, he joined the Indian Air Force and has risen to become a distinguished officer in the Flying Branch.

Wing Commander Abhishek Malhotra is an alumnus of Bal Bharati Public School (BBPS), Nishatpura, Bhopal (Batch 1994-2006), embodies the spirit of dedication and courage that our institution strives to instill in its students. Having completed his schooling at BBPS, he joined the Indian Air Force and has risen to become a distinguished officer in the Flying Branch.

A qualified flying instructor, Wing Commander Malhotra is proficient on a variety of aircraft, including Kiran, Chetak, Mi-8, Mi-17, and Mi-17V5 helicopters. His career has been marked by extraordinary valor and professionalism, most notably during a daring mission in September 2014.

Then a Flight Lieutenant, he was tasked with a mass casualty evacuation operation from Jodhpur to Srinagar in the aftermath of devastating floods in Jammu & Kashmir. Operating in hostile conditions, he saved 922 lives and dropped tonnes of essential supplies during a grueling 12-day mission. His helicopter, subjected to stone pelting by hostile locals, suffered severe rotor blade damage. Despite the odds, he demonstrated exceptional skill and composure, flying the damaged aircraft for 15 minutes to safely recover at a nearby Army Aviation base.

Among his many acts of bravery, one incident stands out: he carried out a critical evacuation of a pregnant woman. Thanks to his timely efforts, she was safely transported to a hospital, where she delivered her baby. The family later honored him for his life-saving intervention.

For his dauntless courage and exemplary skills during the 2014 operation, he was awarded the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Commendation.

Currently posted at a prestigious training institute, Wing Commander Malhotra continues to inspire the next generation of warriors. His journey is a testament to the values instilled at BBPS Bhopal, and he serves as a shining example of how our alumni contribute to the nation’s defense and security.

Our teachers attended the workshop organized by Sahodya Group and conducted by Ms Shampa Das,  a renowned trainer and expertise in empowering education the session was very informative and interesting CBE focus on students demonstration of specific skills and knowledge rather than traditional age based great label this approach enables personalized learning increased student engagement and better preparation for Real world challenges.

Our school’s pride shines brighter than ever, marking this new year with a bang by two major victories!
The boys under 14 basketball team got first position and the girls under 14 basketball team secured third position at Winter league basketball tournament held at St.Thomas Senior Secondary School Ayodhya Nagar held between 29/12/24 to 31/12/2024.
It was organised by St.Thomas Public School.

National Mathematical Day Celebration

National Mathematical day celebration at Regional science centre
Events organized by science Centre Bhopal. Workshop on hands on activities in Mathematics was organized. 3 students Anirudh Upadhyay, Aman Raj and Neelesh Verma of class 9 participated in the workshop under the guidance of Mr Pradeep Barde ( Math Department). The instructor guided the group to prepare models based on Ramanujan Magic number (1729) and values of trigonometric functions. The workshop focused on experiential learning.
